My name is Tyler Georgeson, and I am a graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earning dual BA’s in Film Production and Psychology. Currently I am a graduate student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco studying 3D Animation and Visual Effects.

I was born in Los Angeles, CA, the oldest of 3 brothers, but grew up in Tahoe City in the Sierra Nevada mountains from the age of four. When I turned ten I demanded everyone not sing “Happy Birthday” because I thought it was for little kids. It is now one of my greatest regrets. I enjoy bicycling, backpacking, sailing, rocking out and hot chocolate. Sometimes I sleepwalk.

My career goals are to work as a Character Technical Director and Animator in the entertainment industry. I also hope to be proficient enough in most aspects of production that I could create personal shorts. Ultimately my goal is to be happy with what I am doing, because that is the greatest joy in life. I learned that from my mom.
